Finding an Epagneul Breton may not be as easy as you would like. There are not that many puppies around.
If you are convinced you still want an Epagneul Breton / Brittany then be sure to visit a reputable breeder. Not only is the quality of all English or for that matter Scottish or Welsh dogs very high (as new bloodlines are constantly being brought into this country from France to increase the gene pool) but they will adhere to a strict code of conduct and offer great support to you and your new puppy.
The Brittany Club of Great Britain run a 'Brittany Rescue'. Rescued dogs are always loveable however some will have traits that perhaps led to their need for a new home. A phone call could be the start of a beautiful friendship.
Epagneul Breton / Brittanys are a minor breed in this country - with a very proud and evangalistic following. There are less that 100 puppies registered with the Kennel Club each year. Compare this with over 5000 being registered a year in France.
